How to Setup PVR IPTV Simple Client Kodi

Here is an easy to follow tutorial that will show you how to setup the live TV PVR IPTV Simple Client on Kodi. If you are interested in live TV I have also created a page which shows links to some of the best Live TV addons for Kodi. Use this link to view that page.

Setp 1: Open Kodi Select SYSTEM→Settings


Setp 2: Select TV (or Live TV if you are on a version lower than 15.2 and if you are then consider updating)


Setp 3: Select General


Setp 4: Select Enabled


Setp 5: You will now see a pop-up saying that you have no PVR Client enabled. Select OK


Setp 6: Scroll down and select PVR IPTV Simple Client


Setp 7: Select Enable


Setp 8: Select Configure


Setp 9: Copy this URL - http://pastebin.com/raw/fiMEf4Ab - and paste it into the address section highlighted in the image below and select OK (the channels in this link probably won't work now. This is just an example to show you how it is done. You should use pastebin to find other links so you can create your own m3u.)


Setp 10: Select OK


Setp 11: Reboot Kodi

On your Home Screen you should now see TV (or Live TV if on an older version of Kodi). Open that to see the live channellist


Setp 12: The list should look like this. Select a channel for it to load and play

  • The PVR Simple Client should now be setup with live tv streams available.
